Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou said in his pre-match press conference ahead of their clash with Crystal Palace that he is looking forward to captain Son Heung-min’s return to action as a substitute, while he will not rush players who have already announced their season is over in time for the Europa League final.

Sonny has been out with a foot injury for a while now, but will likely be use to regain his energy in the London derby.

“As far as I know, there are no additional injuries in the squad at the moment. Everyone is fine after the second leg of the Europa League semi-final,” Postecoglou said.

“I hope Sonny can be use for 15-20 คาสิโนออนไลน์ UFABET ฝากถอนรวดเร็ว เริ่มต้นเล่นง่าย minutes to knock off some rust, so he’s the only one who could come back.”

The case of midfielders Lucas Bergvall (ankle) and James Maddison (knee) has led to doubts over whether they will be fit to play in the Europa League final against Manchester United on May 21. With the 59-year-old choosing to focus on the long-term benefits of his players rather than one big game.

“Although Bergvall is a young player with a good recovery potential. We will not rush him back to the Europa League final,” the Aussie added.

“Well, if we extend it for another two weeks, maybe he can participate.”

“I’m sure he’s trying his best, just like Maddison, who’s trying to get fit with the clock.”

“But unfortunately, the two of them will not be able to play in that match.”

“This season things haven’t gone smoothly. I guess both are disappoint not to be involve in the big moments of the season. But they are still part of the team here.”

“As I said after the game in Norway, I don’t think there was a single person in the dressing room who didn’t have a part in getting us to the Europa League final and getting us close to success.”

“We have to make them aware of their role in the right way.”
