Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo said after the 1-1 draw with Liverpool that the two teams played like ping-pong in the second half.

Forest took an early lead through Chris Wood, while Liverpool equalised in the second half through Diogo Jota and had several เว็บพนันออนไลน์ UFABET สมัครง่าย โปรโมชั่นมากมาย chances to overtake but failed to do so, ending in a draw.

“It was a good game, it was entertaining,” Nuno said after the game. “In the first half I thought we played systematically and didn’t give the opposition too many chances.”

“The second half was like playing ping-pong and that’s when Liverpool were stronger, had space to play and with the pace and talent they had they were very dangerous.”

“I’m very proud of the team, the way they’ve run, especially sprinting up and down, and having a hunger to play offense,”

As for Matz Selz, who made several super saves for the team, the Forest coach praised him, saying: “He’s in a good moment, he’s full of confidence and he keeps us in the game. We have to thank him a lot.”

On the support: “It is amazing. Today they helped us defend. We didn’t have the ball for so much time and they kept supporting us realising how tough the opponent is. The support in the last seven minutes felt like they were giving extra runs to our players.”

On being second: “Of course we are satisfied. Especially because of the way the players work. I am so proud. We keep going. We want to enjoy the moment and we are competing very well.”
